UK Boarding Schools with Cricket for Pakistani Families

For parents in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Rawalpindi seeking a British academic education and a professional cricket environment for their son or daughter.

What families in Pakistan need to know

Academic fit

Many Pakistani applicants already sit Cambridge O and A Levels, which map directly onto UK GCSE and Sixth Form entry and make transition unusually smooth. Matric and FSc students are also welcome; we help present those grades clearly.

Cricket background

We regularly see players from regional academies, club cricket and school first XIs. Fast bowlers and spinners with genuine control attract strong interest from UK schools.

Timing your application

With an academic year ending in the spring and UK entry in September, most families start planning a full year ahead. Sixth Form (16+) entry is the most common route from Pakistan.

Travel and access

Flights from Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad connect to Heathrow, Manchester and Birmingham, with direct and one-stop options through the Gulf.

Boys and girls, 11 to 18

Criced works with sons and daughters alike. Girls' cricket in UK independent schools has grown faster than any other sport, with dedicated coaching, fixtures and pathways into the professional women's game.

Questions from Pakistani families

Do UK schools accept Pakistani O and A Level students?

Yes. Cambridge O and A Levels are well understood by UK admissions teams and are among the easiest qualifications to transfer, particularly for 16+ Sixth Form entry.

Is a UK guardian required for a Pakistani student?

Almost always. UK schools require a UK-based guardian for overseas boarders under 18, covering exeat weekends and emergencies. We help families arrange this.

What visa does my child need?

A Child Student visa, sponsored by the school through a CAS once a place is confirmed. The school and Criced guide you through documentation and financial evidence.
